I’m still a newbie when it comes to webdesign. After creating the webpages using photoshop, how do I edit the links in frontpage or dreamweaver, or should i finish it in photoshop and how? -Thanks

I’m building a website that is like the typical board games although online… without giving too much away. It’d utilize audio/video/flash… meant for a party experience.

So i’m trying to figure out what I want to do with my life and I think webdesign would be great for me. I used to make basic pages as a kid and would spend days at a time forgetting about everything and making pages. I’m wanting to know how I get started to learn? Should I sign up for a domain and start making a page and learning as I go or what is the best way? Also, would a 2 year degree be very beneficial in getting a job in this field or do most places only look for a bacholors? And what is the program most designers use now days (Frontpage, dreamweaver or by hand)? What languages should do I need to know to be a professional designer? What would the pay be once I got a 2 year degree in webdesign? I”m basically looking for as much information on this as possible as i’m looking to make a dream reality and can’t wait to get started. Most online create yourself webhost that offers e-commerce seem to only offer product sale. I just have a excel spreadsheet file I would like to sell online which would allow the customers to pay and then download.

Questions:
1. How can I do that?

2. I would like to be able to create and maintain the webdesign myself and have access to all the database. Is there a webhost that can do that reasonably?

3. If I’m based in Australia, do I need to host it with an Australian webhost company for the payment purposes?
