Ok, I asked the below question a few minutes ago, and I appreciate the answers. =)
But…. I have another part to my question, now! lol

IF…. If I were to retake ALL classes that were less than an “A”, and were to earn an “A” in each class, would it be possible to have a 4.0, or even a 3.5 GPA….

My GPA started out at 3.3, then a class I had taken changed from an “I” (incomplete) to a n “F”, which lowered my GPA!

Then next semester, I had to withdraw for medical reasons (surgery, etc). I had a “W” in all classes, except one…for some reason. I thought I successfully withdrew, but ended up with a “D”. I am re-taking that class, and expect to have an “A” grade, or atleast a “B”, if not. I hope this cancels out the “D”, from my understanding, it will.

Anyway, that “F” in the computer class… I messed up and signed up for the Webdesign class, though I did not need it. I only need the basic computer class! Is there anyway to change the “F” grade, other than re-taking the class….could an advisor approve the substitution, or is that not possible.. lol I don’t know.

Basically what I want to know, is, how to raise my GPA. I am hoping it is possible to get back to a 3.0 or a 3.5, or higher. Wondering if I have to re-take all the classes under an “A” to raise the GPA.

My current GPA is really low, 2.063!

(I mean, about the substitution, I wonder if taking the basic computer class that I actually need, if the new grade could cancel out the “F” from the webdesign class. Sort of like “re-taking” it, but actually substituting for the one I really needed. If that makes sense! lol)
I didn’t know it was possible to have a grade removed from my transcript, I am not sure who to talk to, or what the process is, but I am glad to hear that may be a possibility! Thank you.

I am retaking Counseling Skills this semester, and should definitely pass with an A, “B” at the lowest. As far as the Webdesign class, I hate re-taking it, because it doesn’t pertain to my degrees, but……if that’s what it takes, I will! lol It was a dumb mistake on my part to take it to begin with. So…. Oh well. lol
