blog plug ins
Crystal B asked:

My doctor stripped my membranes at 38 weeks–I lost my mucous plug then. It was a big blog of snot-looking stuff with blood. Then tonight (40 1/2 weeks) I lost the exact same amount of stuff. Is it possible to lose your mucous plug twice in the same pregnancy? I’m 3 cm dialated (and was only 1 cm the first time).

You may have only lost a portion of it the first time and th rest tonight.

I spent a course of over a week losing bits and pieces of my mucous plug before I went into labor with my daughter.

It maybe possible that all of it didn’t come out the first time around. You may want to ask your doctor if it really bothers you.

Yes you can, they can grow back.

Also you can lose it little by little.

Yes, it does not come out all at once. Get some rest, that baby is coming soon!
