I am considering building a website and I need advice on the best software to use.

I have some computer skills, but I am very rusty on webdesign…. but I can learn. The website I am invisioning is your standard website, but it needs to have two special features.

1) It needs to have a sortable database, (For example, it is going to have a list of locations, and I want a person to be able to select just ones from a specific state).

2) I want visitors to be able to offer reviews of specific entries.

Does anyone know a website design package that has these two features?

but there is so much courses out there its bit confusing what to choose i want to be able to work with almost everything in webdesign flash/php/mysql/xml/java/ajax/css

i do know css and html but of course i would like to have a certificatio/diploma in those languages

what course should i choose

I have been working on a website which is saved onto my desktop (it’s not published yet). I have to save it onto a CD so that my webdesign teacher can view it. I’d like to know how to do this and also make sure that she can see it. I have a mac if that helps. Please let me know. Thanks.

out on the web, its easy to find how to create layouts in programs such as photoshop… the only problem i have is incorporating these designs into a website im making in Dreamweaver. could anyone go step by step to explain how to make a navigation bar from an image created in photoshop, and whether it is possible to make button up & over images in photoshop

I want 2 design a website for a Teen Audience (Girls).
But I would like some ideas.
I am good at WebDesign but am not sure what to put on the actual wesite. I have no ideas at all.
I would also like to know what Teen Girls are intrested in.
Any ideas please…
