I have to do a website for a project, for school. I don’t know much about webdesign so i’m looking for a software that can help me out…
You always see in shows and in movies that when a person clicks something, the screen changes with a transition (such as a “wipe down” effect), not just a cut. This is what I want to have while I’m browsing, so when I click a link, the new webpage is shown like it is loading horizontally (typically a wipe down). This is called a webpage transition, but that’s for a webdesign designer to encode into a single webpage. I want to be able to browse through the internet and have a transition for each time I change a webpage. Is there such an add-on for IE or Firefox that I can get a hold of?
Sphere: Related Contenttheres a webdesign program for 10k that includes html, xhtml , javascrpit , photshop, css, dreamweaver and e-business. its a 1 year program at a private college but its 10k. Not worth it cause its the basic. But what are the advance stuff that are worth paying for to learn at a college??
Sphere: Related ContentWell I don’t feel like explaining why I dropped out, its just where I live and I can’t stand where I’m living (I don’t need anyones shit as you don’t know the details)..
But anyway how did that work out for anyone who has their GED? I’m very computer smart so I plan on taking classes for webdesign and computer programming which can make anywhere from 30-100K+/year
But first I would need a decent job to pay for the classes, what really am I limited on VS finishing High School? A GED is suppose to be equivalent to a High School diploma.
Sphere: Related ContentHey,
I am 13, and have been programming for 5 years. I know how to create any webdesign I like, and do what ever I like with codes. And yes, I do it without looking for help. Simply in notepad, and the graphics I do in Photoshop Elements, Photoshop CS3 and I usually finish off with one other Adobe program.
My parents are encouraging me to begin doing what I really love, programming as a job. I found out that I could do it at this age too, since I have so much experience and I can create whatever I want without using free templates and things, it’s all in my head.
How much could I get payed for this? On about an average? I wouldn’t start doing it for 100 bucks a month and 15 bucks and hour, compared to how much work, effort and time I would put into it.
And yes, I’m familiar with codes, very familiar. I started programming with HTML, and I am now upto learning the basics of “Visual Basic”, with my father who does it as a job (Visual Basic stuff).
How much could I get payed?
No no no. I’m not even considering to quit school. Just the fact that I could do it and go to school.
Aah. Dreamweaver. The endless topic that everyone tries to rely on. No no no. I have tried Dreamweaver, but I just find it confusing. It just throws garbage into my code, like frontpage. And I don’t find it useful since I already know how to create everything I want without it. I don’t like Dreamweaver, since I learned coding in notepad, and it is how I have done it for 5 years. I feel like it is a waste of time.
I usually just code, do the graphics, look at it, and test it on different browsers. That’s it. I find programming easy like … its hard to explain.

Hello,
I live in Ireland and I would like to register as freelance, but I need informations about where registering, how works taxes, etc …
Do any of you have this experience ?
I heard that painters just pay 4% taxes but is it the same for illustrators if they sell postcards, and reproductions of their works, or webdesign ?
I would be happy if anybody could help me.
