nursing/, photography/webdesign. i know nursing is higher pay and could provide a ore secure future but i really want to go in the design direction. i think i would be so unappy as a nurse or anything outside of design. but i know u dont make much as a photog or graph designer and these major that i chose are the only ones i would consider from my college

I need to manage a database of freelancer designers, my providers.
For each of them, i could need to attach Portfolio images, flash, or resume.
Each of them could have rating, price/hour, and tags (illustration, webdesign, etc) that i could use to filter by.
Ideally I should also be able to view contact by card, showing at least one image.

last, if possible this address book is accessible also by my collegues on MAC
and because it’s a business tool, we don’t feel comfortable in completely relying on some webhosted service on the other side of the world.
any clue?

So I’ve finally decided it’s time to stop personally typing all my websites in base HTML in Notepad and move up to something a tad more professional looking, lol.

My husband has used PHP Nuke in the past, but I don’t like the base look of that style of layout, I’m looking for a slightly different program that works on the same idea. Any suggestions? (Probably sound like a total idiot but I’ve never tried anything near web programming.. done lots of personal websites, but all in Notepad)

I’ve been designing websites for a few years now, but have never designed one for anyone else. Now I have people wanting me to design sites for them, and I don’t really know what to do.

Do I have them buy their own hosting, or just have them pay me monthly to cover their hosting bill?

Do they need to buy their own domain name, or do I add that to the bill also?

Thanks for any help. It would also help me out if you could refer me to a good resource for this type of thing. I have the webdesign part down pat, but the business side of things I’m new to.

We speak alot online using Skye and Msn. But lately if i say Hi or message him he does message me back. After about 2 attempts i stop trying and go on to something else. Either sleep, webdesign, my life etc. It got to the point where we didn’t speak for almost 3 weeks. I assumed he was busy or had someone else in his life so i was just going to move on. That’s how I am. You can’t make a man want you.

After about 3 weeks he sent me a message filled with kisses and flowers saying he missed me and where was I. I told him I had been around chilling and what not. He said he thought I was busy and thats why we hadn’t been talking. I explained to him i had been writing him and got no response so i figured if he missed me enough or was still interested he would speak.

Everynow and then he’ll say, ” I hope you dont have another boyfriend” or “i hope your not seeing someone else.” So a few weeks after that i asked he were we stood, and If it was ok for me to call him boyfriend or if we were indeed dating. His reaction to it was that he wasn’t sure. He knows deep down that he likes me alot. He feels like ive been myself with him and i have good qualities, but because we are so far apart he just doesnt know how he feels about the boyfriend/girlfriend thing. So i said that was understandable. Well after that I had finals at school. Im a junior in college. So we didnt speak much after that. You know, i dont have time for man drama with finals. lol. Anyways that saturday i wrote him online and he was happy to hear from me. He said he thought i was upset after the whole bf/gf talk and thats why i wasnt talking to him. I explained to him i had finals and he been getting busy with my books.

Well, now he has started the no reply thing again. I’ve written him twice. Once this morning once yesterday and no response to either. I’m getting frustrated and im going to stop trying. If he likes me so much why, do i feel like he is toying with me.
