I’d call the SPCA or humane society in the area it’s being offered, and alert them. Hopefully they can get some animal control officers to do an investigation.
LOL the world is really full of geniuses, isn’t it? “It’s legal because we’re calling it something else!” Durrrr. Good luck to you, it doesn’t sound like the authorities should have much trouble shutting these Einsteins down!
If you are in the United States you contact your local police department.
I would contact the police in his city/town and report it to them. Let them investigate his property and decide what it is, no matter what the jerk is “calling” it.
Once you know his location, google the name of his city plus “chief of police.” You should get the contact information for the police department. Ask whoever ends up taking the case to please let you know the outcome.
dog fighting is illegal, showing a dogfight on a website probably isn’t…and you didn’t say what was actually on the site so who knows, you may be overreacting.
Call the police or the local SPCA.
wow. so if i rape a little girl, its legal if i call it flowerpicking, wtf kind of world does he live in?! ignorance of the law, in america, is not a defense, or reason of innocence, and this doesn’t even apply here, changing the name means that he knows what he is doing is illegal, and therefore is guilty of premeditation also. contact the authorities, the spca, and the humane society, and if nothing happens, contact somebody in the media, they would love some of micheal vics home videos anyway
Post the website and let us be the judge. Sites for gamedogs
are not illegal unless the dogs are advertised for fighting.
Showing pictures of dogs fighting before it became illegal
is not against the law. Most of the sites are for historical
purposes and are dedicated to preserving the APBT as close as possible to it`s original form. If the site is promoting an illegal
activity It would have been shut down long before you could complain about it. I have never seen a site that sells or even discusses game dogs without a disclaimer. With a disclaimer
you would be hard pressed to prove anything unless the person is a complete moron.
It would be a good idea to figure out where they are based out of. Although I don’t know of any area where dog fighting is legal, its good to double check (as some things are illegal here but not overseas, and vis versa). Then, once you know where they are based out of, *call the authorities in that area.* I am not sure your local authorities would be able to do much, unless he/she is in your area.
You could also try calling or contacting the web hosting service, as they may take down the website… as they don’t regularly check the content of the websites… they would generally be more then happy to take down a website with illegal material. But don’t be surprised if you run into some people that seem unwilling to help. I am sure they get complaints all the time (many probably not being valid).
contact your local authorities like the FBI
