I want to make a button into an image and it must call a function.. I tried this and it does not work..

(when i do that the function only reacts for split second via onclick.. I tried onmousedown that allows function to last until you stop holding mouse down.. onmouseup does not work at all..)

but! this works but it is not an image which sucks

(when I do that the function does its job which is to change text in a Div Tag)

PS: so to clarify one time over, the regular button that I show calls the function which changes the text in a div tag.. but when I do the image button it calls the function and changes the text in the div tag only during a brief moment via onclick, onmousedown, and onmouseup doesnt seem to work at all (but may for just a split second hard to tell)

really hope someone knows the solution.. I don’t like the lame gray buttons :-p
